Stephenie Meyer Makes Forbes List

Stephenie Meyer is number 26 on Forbes 2009 Celebrity 100 list.

Click to EnlargeThanks to the success of Meyer’s Twilight series, 2008 became the year of the vampire. The low-profile author sold 29 million books last year, releasing two new novels (Breaking Dawn and The Host) and selling hoards of paperbacks of what have become instant classics (Twilight, Eclipse and New Moon). Last November, gothy fans camped out to catch the first film based on the series; Twilight grossed $70 million opening weekend. A partial rough draft of the fifth Twilight book leaked online last August; Meyer published the full draft on her Web site and announced the book wouldn’t be published.

    WAT???? :shock: OMG r u SERIOUS!!!! the FULL version is on her website and its NEVER going to be published!!!! this is SO awful!!!! OMG!!! poor Stephanie!!that book was spoiled for her by the fans!! i feel so guilty now!!!! but i didnt know about it until her website and she basically served it on a plate for me to read!!!! im in shock!! when didi all this happen??? im SO pissed :cry:

    here…em im kinda confused…. :neutral: did they mean that the full version of the book so far?? cuz i looked there now and thats all i see….that would explain why i didnt hear anything about it!!Lol. why would these ppl do that to me!!!!! that was an awful 5mins of my life!!!!lol. i thot it was NEVER going to be published. like i knew she said that, but then she said that she would like to publish it!! im calm now!!lol

    i was upset wen she said she wasn’t going to publish it oh yeah I think the song ‘No air’ by jordin sparks should go on the new moon sound track. I was just listening to it and it fit perfectly in my opinion.
